Dr. Vincent J. Vivona graduated from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York and the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his Rotating internship, Internal Medicine residency and Clinical and Research Cardiology Fellowship at the US Public Health Service Hospital in Staten Island, New York. Dr: Vivona is the founding member of Brick Cardiovascular Specialists P.A. and has practiced in Ocean County for the past 26 years. He also received his Juris Doctor degree from Temple University School of Law in 1990 and is a member of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bars.

Dr. Vivona is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is also certified in Quality Improvement and Utilization Review and Risk Management. He became a Fellow of the American College of Legal Medicine in 1993. He served as Chief of Staff at Ocean Medical Center and Chief of Cardiology at Community Medical Center. He currently is a Trustee of the Meridian Health System Hospital Board and also serves on various board committees. He is also a member of the Medical Executive Committee and Co-Chairman of the Quality Improvement and Outcomes Committee at Ocean Medical Center. He has been a Regional Division Physician with the NJ State Police since 1988.

Dr. Vivona is currently a member of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Cardiology, American College of Legal Medicine, American Medical Association, and the New Jersey State Bar Association.
